Challenge
Kids Empire, a fast-growing family entertainment brand, was expanding rapidly, but its corporate website couldn’t keep up. Their marketing team faced an immediate roadblock: the modern Next.js site was entirely hardcoded. Every new landing page, every text update, and every campaign required a developer, creating a significant bottleneck that stifled marketing agility.
The company needed to move at the speed of its growth. This meant empowering the marketing team with full content autonomy, building a system to seamlessly launch and manage 100+ park locations, preparing for expansion by adding Spanish for the U.S. market and French for the Canadian market, and fixing critical gaps in technical SEO and web accessibility—all within a tight 2-month deadline.
Solution
As an engineer-led, AI-native agency, we delivered a high-performance content system designed for marketing autonomy and operational scale. We replatformed the entire digital presence to a headless architecture using Payload CMS and Next.js, focusing on reusable components and automated workflows.
We engineered a system that gave the marketing team back control:
Composable Page Architecture: We broke down every page design into 38 reusable content blocks. This modular approach allows the marketing team to independently build, preview, and launch any page—from the homepage to new campaign landers—without writing a single line of code.
Automated Location Engine: We turned new park openings from an engineering project into a simple editorial task. Editors can now bulk-import new locations via CSV, with the system automatically handling Google Places data integration (ratings, reviews) and generating a full set of templated location subpages (e.g., birthday parties, hours) in a single click.
Accessibility & SEO as Defaults: We built a robust technical foundation for organic growth and compliance. This included automated JSON-LD structured data for all content types, a full suite of on-page SEO controls, and a custom-built accessibility checker directly in the live preview toolbar, flagging WCAG contrast issues before they go live.
Performance-First, Static-First Delivery: To ensure a fast user experience, we implemented a static-first rendering strategy on Vercel. Using tag-based on-demand revalidation, content edits go live globally in seconds without sacrificing the performance and reliability of a fully static site.
