Lunacy Audio Case Study
We rebuilt Lunacy Audio’s legacy WordPress stack into a fully custom headless commerce platform powered by Payload CMS, Supabase, and Stripe
Client's challenge
Legacy WordPress and WooCommerce stack created slow storefront performance and poor checkout experience
Existing architecture limited design flexibility and blocked the company’s rebranding efforts
Plugin authorization and license management operated as a separate fragmented system
Large-scale legacy data migration required preserving orders, customers, coupons, and license keys without disrupting operations
Marketing and support teams lacked centralized tooling for managing sales, coupons, and customer workflows
Digital product delivery and licensing infrastructure needed to scale with growing daily active users

Rewrote the AWS-based authorization and license activation layer, migrating it to Supabase-backed infrastructure with improved maintainability and scalability
Migrated legacy WooCommerce customers, orders, coupons, and license keys into a unified Supabase data layer while preserving operational continuity
Built a fully custom digital commerce workflow including dynamic pricing, bundles, subscriptions, expirable download links, and personalized storefront experiences
Developed operational tooling for marketing and support teams, including bulk coupon generation, Klaviyo synchronization, sales management dashboards, and Stripe transaction reconciliation

What our client says
FocusReactive rebuilt our WordPress site on a modern CMS to support a much larger-scale application. They handled frontend development, backend integrations, data migration, and ongoing support, including a successful migration of 150,000 users. The new site is significantly faster and easier to navigate, and the team has been highly organized, efficient, and communicative throughout the project
